TOM WOPAT for the national tour of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, coming to Jones Hall December 19 - 24, 2000 as part of
the Houston Broadway Series, presented by The Society for the Performing Arts. Henner, a Broadway, Television and Silver
Screen star, will play the role of Annie Oakley and Wopat will re - create his Tony nominated role of Frank Butler. Individual

Ms. Henners return to the Broadway stage as CHICAGOs Roxie Hart, elicited rave reviews. She re - created the role in a
special engagement at the Mandalay Bay Theatre in Las Vegas. Previous Broadway credits include: SOCIAL SECURITY,
PAL JOEY, OVER HERE and GREASE. She is currently appearing in the motion picture Man on the Moon starring Jim
Carrey and can also be seen in L. A. Story with Steve Martin, Noises Off with Michael Caine and Blood Brothers with
Richard Gere. Ms. Henner is best known for her Emmy nominated role as Elaine Nardo in the top rated TV series - TAXI
and co - starred in Evening Shade with Burt Reynolds. Marilus versatility extends beyond performing. She is a best - selling
author with five hit books to her credit including her most recent, Marilu Henners Healthy Life Kitchen, now in bookstores.
Mr. Wopat is known for his seven - season run in the TV phenomenon, The Dukes of Hazzard and most recently seen on the
hit CBS sitcom, Cybill. Recent Broadway credits include the role of Detective Stone in CITY OF ANGELS and Sky
Masterson in the revival of GUYS AND DOLLS. Mr. Wopat has released several successful albums with CBS and Capitol
Records, yielding several top - 20 hits, and has toured throughout the United States and Europe. His current CD on Angel
Records is Tom Wopat, The Still of the Night.
ANNIE GET YOUR GUN is the highly fictionalized story of Annie Oakley, one of the worlds most famous sharpshooters.
The 1946 musical celebrates her stormy, competitive relationship with Frank Butler, a dashing vaudeville marksman, as they
tour the country as the stars of Buffalo Bills Wild West Show.
With a vibrant score written by legendary composer Irving Berlin, ANNIE GET YOUR GUN features some of the best
