Baker III speaks at its next Business Alliance Networking Breakfast sponsored by Conoco on
Tuesday April 21 at 7:30 am. The Business Alliance Breakfast will be held at the River Oaks

MOZART'S THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO
HGO concludes its Mainstage Season with its critically acclaimed production of Mozart's The
Marriage of Figaro
The Bad Boys of Opera
Comedy of manners marks the American and HGO debut of Dutch Maestro Lawrence Renes
conducting the Houston Symphony. The Marriage of Figaro opens Friday, April 24 at the
Wortham Center's Brown Theater with additional performances on April 26m, May2, May 5, May
8, May 9 (alternate cast) and May 10, 1998.

BIZET'S CARMEN
HGO returns to Miller Outdoor Theatre with two Performances of Bizet's Carmen on HGO'S
groundbreaking Multi-media Modular Stage. Suzanna Guzman stars in new production directed
and choreographed by Michele Assaf. HGO presents an innovative production on Friday, June 5
and Saturday June 6, 1998 8:30pm at The Miller Outdoor Theatre. HGO returns to the public
outdoor ampitheater after a five year absence as part of its Community Connections Initiative, a
progressive, multi-pronged initiative aimed at moving HGO closer to the center of community life.
