Thrilling Cast Revealed!
(HOUSTON) – You have been warned: the infamous
bank-robbing lovers are on their way to Houston, accompanied by an
electrifying cast! TUTS Underground is thrilled to present
Bonnie & Clyde, the story of two small-town nobodies in West
Texas who became America’s most renowned folk heroes and the Texas
law enforcement’s worst nightmares. The show will run October 1 –
11, 2016 in Zilkha Hall at The Hobby Center for the
Performing Arts.
When Bonnie and Clyde
meet, their mutual cravings for excitement and fame immediately set
them on a mission to chase their dreams. Their bold and reckless
behavior turns the young lovers’ thrilling adventure into a downward
spiral, putting themselves and their loved ones in trouble with the
law. Forced to stay on the run, the lovers resort to robbery and
murder to survive. As the infamous duo’s fame grows bigger, their
inevitable end draws nearer.
Starring as the bold,
reckless lovers are Robert Hager as Clyde Barrow and
Kathryn Porterfield as Bonnie Parker. Hager and Porterfield are
joined by Drew Starlin as Buck Barrow, Clyde’s adventurous
and troubled brother, and Courtney Markowitz as Blanche
Barrow, Buck’s religious wife who disapproves of his wild lifestyle.
Cumie Barrow, Clyde and Buck’s loving mother, is played by Susan
Shofner and their father, Henry Barrow, is played by Curt
Denham. Bonnie’s widowed mother, Emma Parker, is played by
Susan Koozin. Adam Gibbs plays Ted Hinton, a police
officer who struggles with his deep feelings for Bonnie and doing
right by the law. Playing Governor Miriam Ferguson, the tough female
governor of Texas, is Brooke Wilson. Scott Fonseka and
Ella DuCharme, both students at TUTS’ Humphreys School of
Musical Theatre, star as Young Clyde and Young Bonnie.
The rest of the cast is
sure to thrill too: Colton Berry, Marco Camacho, Kevin Cooney,
Casey Gilbert, Dylan Godwin, Nick Henderson, Miles Marmolejo,
Savannah May and Robin Van Zandt.

ELLA DuCHARME (Young Bonnie) a Kinkaid 7th grader and
